In terms of my life and experiences writing is fairly new. Recently I was talking to a friend and remembering how I loved to write when I was in Primary School, what a great imagination I had. I remember handing in my work and being so excited, getting the paper back and often it would have at the top of the page 100/100 then I would see the bloody red pen - spelling, grammar blah blah blah and then then newly corrected mark 54/100 - my heart would sink, no I would never be a writer.
Not so many years ago I started writing bits and pieces about my life, gained some feedback and so the journey began. I still wasn't confident in my abilities until my darling friend ("I call her Mountain Fairy") said "Just write, what do you think editors are for". Of course, how dare I do people out of work, now I was free to write, the story, the emotions, everything, the spelling the grammar that would be done later. Oh happy day :)
The following are the projects I am currently involved with (Publishers don't be shy - waiting for your emails)

Life through the Lens of a sumptuous goddess"

Introduction………..“Who is this woman?” I hear you ask and what makes her gorgeous and an expert on life.Well let me share a few ‘tit bits’ about myself. I am fair, fat and forty (well between puberty and death – and closer to death, OKAY 49 and some months are you happy now! Voluptuous, well cuddly in a very sexy sort of way with natural rich red auburn hair (that I highlight the roots grey about every six to eight weeks) and what do I know on life? I have lived and I have loved. I have had my heart ripped from my chest and shoved up my arse more than once. I have screamed two children into the world, I have survived a mother, the odd lover, dogs, birds and friends. I have cleansed, and balanced, taken Prozac. I have lit candles, burnt oils and been in scandals.I think once I may have been abducted by aliens who took great delight in carrying out all sorts of weird sexual experiments on my sumptuous, buxom goddess body – their big oval eyes unable to believe the feast that lay before them

“Life through the Lens of a Sumptuous Goddess”
Author: Lynne Dalrymple.
The most appealing person in the world, to me, is someone who is willing to take a light-hearted view of them-selves and then boldly share that. Because let’s face it, there is nothing quite so healing as a laugh, especially at ourselves.
Lynne Dalrymple does this in her hilarious book “Life through the Lens of a Sumptous Goddess” I have laughed with her and related to her as will beautiful girls everywhere. We have all had need of advice on subjects such as, looking our best, G. Strings, looking inside…not an inward look at self here, something quite different and so girly, camping trips, and much more. Blokes willing to read it will laugh for hours. I know they will relate to the humour and the heart- felt.
I have already sent one to a girlfriend as a present, and I can hear her laughing already.

Depression, you can still live love and laugh
Reading this now you are probably thinking there are so many books on depression and you are right. But the majority of books are written by counsellors and Doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists. Don’t get us wrong these books have vital information but we wanted something real something to share from people who live with this on a day to day basis. We wanted people to have ‘lightbulb’ moments when they would read something and think “that’s me” We would never profess to have all the answers but we wanted strategies that we and others have used, we wanted hope for people who just feel they can’t do it any more and we wanted you to know that you can still live, love and laugh.

PERSEPHONE

Marna slowly opened her eyes, for a moment not knowing where she was or when it was. Her neck was stiff and she was having trouble focussing. Her glasses had fallen to her lap. “God I am not in Kansas anymore” she giggled like a schoolgirl to herself. Marna unfolded the piece of paper she had clutched tightly in her hand. She had read and re-read this certificate over a hundred times. “Congratulations, The United Allied States for Peace and Goodwill have much pleasure in announcing that Marna Cummings has been chosen as one of the two hundred selected to colonise Pacifini. You will be contacted within the next two weeks for all the information and answers you will be seeking. Again Congratulations.
